LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The NFCA released the latest Division II Top 25 poll for softball on Tuesday, with Northwest Nazarene climbing one spot to 18th in the nation.
The Nighthawks (30-7, 13-3 GNAC) are coming off a decisive four-game sweep at Montana State Billings. NNU has been in the top 25 all season, entering at 25th in the beginning of the year and rising as high as 16th three weeks ago.
West Texas A&M remains on top of the poll, followed by North Georgia, Tampa, Rogers State, and Indianapolis. Western Washington is the highest ranked GNAC and West Region program at 11th, while Concordia (16th) and Cal State San Marcos (24th) also represent the West Region in the rankings.
The Nighthawks will remain on the road this week, visiting Saint Martin's for four games on April 12 and 13.Â
