Giboney Qualifies for NCAA Regionals in New Mexico

| By:
INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced the regional qualifiers for the 2024 Division II Men's Golf Championships on Friday, with Northwest Nazarene senior Grayson Giboney making the cut in his final campaign in Nampa.

The 2024 South Central/West Regional is set to be held May 9-11 at University Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico. A total of 20 teams (ten from each region) as well as eight individuals (four from each region) will compete at the regional.

This will be Giboney's second appearance at NCAA Regionals, as the Nighthawks made it as a team in 2021. He played well at the regional that season, finishing in a tie for ninth individually.

He is just the second NNU men's golfer to qualify as an individual for regionals, joining Dale Raybould in 2008.

Fellow GNAC schools Simon Fraser and Western Washington each qualified for the postseason as a team, while Giboney was one of the four individuals selected from the West.
