KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the Academic All-District Teams for softball on Tuesday, with Northwest Nazarene's
Sidney Booth,
Tori Hensley, and
Maia McNicoll earning honors.
This is Booth's third time receiving the Academic All-District recognition, while McNicoll and Hensley each earn it for the second time in their careers.
The trio have been raking in honors and awards this season, all just recently named All West Region by the D2CCA. McNicoll was the GNAC Player of the Year, with Booth and Hensley joining her with First Team All-GNAC selections.
The 2023 Academic All‐District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be significant contributors to their team athletically while maintaining a cumulative GPA of a 3.50 or above.
