BEAUMONT, Calif. – Northwest Nazarene women's golf placed third out of eight teams in Vanguard's Fall Invite on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Overall, Gridley had the most impressive invite for the Nighthawks. She shot a 74 in her first round and a 78 in the second round to finish +8 overall. She had 23 pars and four birdies in her individual fourth place finish.
Elle McCord had the hottest first round of any player at the invite, holding the top spot on the leaderboard with a score of 72 in round one. In her second round, she shot an 84 and finished tied for eighth individually. Also tied for the eighth spot at the invite was
Christine Cho, after shooting a 76 and an 80.
Paige Vancil and and
Tora Timinsky rounded out the scoring for the Nighthawks with a 166 and 171 respectively.
Allison MacMillan played as an individual and shot a 179 with rounds of 89 and 90.
The women's next competition is October 23
