BILLINGS, Mont. – Northwest Nazarene men's soccer won a thrilling neutral site match against UC Colorado Springs 1-0 in the final seconds on Thursday.
 
How it Happened
 
The Nighthawks began quiet with only three shots in the first half. Two of the shots were taken by Jake Levine, with one of them being on target and saved.
 
Meanwhile in the first half, the Mountain Lions took six shots. Two of them were on target and saved by Sawyer Price.
 
The tides turned in the second half as the Nighthawks started applying constant pressure on the Mountain Lions. The Nighthawks had eight shots in the second half, with six of them being on target.
 
In 90^th minute, Jake Levine received a pass from Lukas Juodkunaitis on the offensive third. Jake took a shot on goal and the ball misdirected off a Mountain Lion defender to end up in the back of the net with just 12 seconds left, securing a Nighthawks win.

• The Nighthawks had 11 shots (7 on goal) while UCCS had 10 shots (3 on goal)
• NNU had no corner kicks and UCCS had eight
• Jake Levine took four shots with three shots on goal including the game-winning tally
• Levine's goal was the 25^th of his career, just the third NNU men's soccer player to do so and bringing him within one goal of second place and just three of the program record of 28
• Lukas Juodkunaitis took two shots, had one shot on goal, and notched his second assist in the opening three games
• Jimmy Koufidakis took four shots with two on goal
• Sawyer Price had three saves in his first shutout of the season
