PORTLAND, Ore. - The 2022 GNAC All-Academic Softball Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College, was released on Wednesday, with 14 members of the Northwest Nazarene program earning the honor.
The honorees, in alphabetical order, are

Sidney Booth,
Madison Felter,
Abigail Gagnon,
Tori Hensley,
Emilie Hernandez,
Ivy Hommel,
Maia McNicoll,
Audree Montmeny,
Emma Mulligan,
Mckenzie Oakes,
Ashlee Schriever,
Gina Skinner, and
Nicole Zuvela.
Hommel is one of just six softball players in the conference to receive the honor for the fourth time, earning selection in 2019, 2020, 2021, and now 2022. Bliss, McNicoll, Oakes, and Schriever are also all three-time honorees, while Booth, Felter, Gagnon, Hensley, and Zuvela are repeat honorees from a season ago.
The 14 honors lead the conference, edging out the 12 of both Montana State Billings and Western Washington.
Six Nighthawks have posted GPAs above a 3.80, while three are at a 3.90 or higher.
To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Teams, presented by Barnes & Noble College, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.20 or greater, be a letterwinner on their team and must be in their second year at the nominating institution.
