PORTLAND, Ore. - The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced
Emma Bumatay as the Player of the Week after a career weekend in Billings, Mont. Bumatay earns the GNAC honor for the second time in her career, first time this season.
Bumatay went yard four times in the four-game series. The Nighthawks took a 16-2 victory as Bumatay went 3-for-3 with two homers and six RBIs. She followed up an already impressive stat line with two more homers in the next two games to finish the series with 10 RBIs.Â
Bumatay is now tied for the top GNAC spot in home runs with 12 and leads with 46 RBIs.

Every at-bat was a huge hit for us our a loud out. Boom leads by example in so many ways and it is great to see her bat getting hot at the right time."
