NAMPA, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene women's basketball defeated Concordia by a score of 70-48 on Friday night.
The Nighthawks advance to 4-1 on the season.
How it Happened
The Nighthawks came out with the hot hand in the first quarter. NNU shot just over 57% from the field and 80% from beyond the arc.
Cami Knishka had 11 of the Nighthawks 29 points in the first quarter. Knishka knocked down three shots from deep as part of her first quarter tear.
McKenna Castledine led the charge for NNU in the second quarter, hitting a jumper and two three-point shots for eight of the Nighthawks 14 points. NNU led 43-26 at halftime.
The Nighthawks were strong in the second half as well. They maintained their lead for the rest of the match. NNU shot over 42% in the second half and made 70% of their free-throws to finish out the game 70-48.
