NAMPA, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene men's soccer beat Montana State Billings 2-0 on Thursday night.
 
The Nighthawks improve to 7-2-1 overall, and 3-1-0 in the GNAC.
 
How it Happened
 
The Nighthawks had a strong first half with nine shots to the Yellowjackets' one. Although the Nighthawks seemed to be in control, the score at the end of the first half was 0-0.
 
The match remained scoreless until the 67^th minute when Ethan Atterberry delivered a through ball to Jake Levine who scored the Nighthawks' first goal.
 
The second goal of the match came in the 87^th minute. This time Atterberry was the one to score the goal on an assist from Jimmy Koufidakis.
 
The Nighthawks were able to hold on to the 2-0 lead for the rest of the match.
