BILLINGS, Mont. - Northwest Nazarene volleyball wrapped up their three-week road trip to open the season on Saturday, falling in three sets to Montana State Billings.
The Yellowjackets took sets one and two by scores of 25-20 and 25-16. In the third set, NNU took a late 23-21 lead but MSUB scored the final four points of the frame to take the match.
Natalie Sullivan continued her strong play with a double-double of 12 kills and 11 digs.
Brooke Foster was also in double-digits in kills with ten.
Three Nighthawks eclipsed the 10-dig mark, as
Caroline McMahon (16) and
Megan MacKinney (11) joined Sullivan.
NNU will make their home debut next Thursday, hosting Simon Fraser at 7:00 PM.
