KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The final United Soccer Coaches poll for the spring 2021 Division II Women's Soccer season was announced on Tuesday, with Northwest Nazarene finishing 11th in the country.

The Nighthawks had their best season in program history, finishing an unprecedented 11-0-0 during the shortened spring slate. NNU's 11-game win streak also flies past the previous program records for victories in a row and matches without a loss.

NNU was ranked in the national poll for the first time in program history this year, entering at 23rd on March 23 and appearing in each of the last four rankings of the year, reaching as high as 10th in the poll on April 20.

NNU recorded seven shutouts in their 11 matches, including six of the final seven. Overall on the year, NNU outscored their opponents a staggering 30-5 while averaging 19 shots per game and allowing just 5.7.

Four Nighthawks finished the campaign with double-digit points despite just the 11 matches. McKenzie Buell led the team with 19 points on six goals and seven assists, followed by Ashley Parton with seven goals and three assists. Sierra Sanchez finished with six goals and one assist despite missing four of the 11 contests, and Carolyn Moravec got to 10 points with three goals and four assists.
