The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association released their latest national rankings on Wednesday, and Northwest Nazarene remains at No. 15 in the country. NNU is also 28th in the latest Collegiate Baseball DII top-30 rankings.

The Nighthawks are the only team from the GNAC that makes an appearance in either poll. Azusa Pacific is the highest ranked team from the West Region, slotting in seventh in the NCBWA poll and 14th for Collegiate Baseball. Concordia-Irvine is also receiving votes in the NCBWA poll.

NNU is off to a fantastic start through 16 games, holding a 13-3 record that includes an 18-6 rout of then-No. 2 Colorado Mesa a few weeks ago and a 7-1 record in GNAC play after a sweep of Montana State Billings and a 3-1 weekend against Central Washington last week.

The Nighthawks have also moved all the way up to second in the NCBWA West Region poll, behind just Azusa Pacific.

NNU will look to keep the success going with their first road conference games of the season this weekend, visiting Saint Martin's for four games on Friday and Saturday.
