NABC Division II Rankings
D2SIDA Division II Poll
NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene men's basketball is still waiting to play their next game after last week's contests were postponed, but NNU remains at No. 14 in the D2SIDA poll and rises one place to No. 17 in the NABC poll.
The Nighthawks (8-1) have now been in the D2SIDA poll for four-straight weeks and the NABC poll for the last three. This is the highest that NNU has been ranked in either poll as a member of Division II.
There is not a regional poll for D2SIDA this week, but the NCAA will be coming out with their first set of regional rankings on Wednesday. Due to many schools and conferences opting out of the season, the regions have shifted temporarily to accommodate equal numbers in each region. NNU remains in the same region as normal, but with the CCAA opting out, the RMAC has joined the GNAC and PacWest to form the West Region.
Ezekiel Alley leads the Nighthawks through the nine games with an average of 18.6 points per contest while also dishing out 3.3 assists per game. The senior has also already claimed three GNAC Player of the Week honors.Â
George Reidy is next with 13.9 points per game, followed byÂ
James Nelson with 9.6 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game.Â
Kobe Terashima also leads the Nighthawks with 5.9 assists per game while contributing 7.8 points per contest.
NNU is set to host a pair of games this weekend, squaring off with Saint Martin's Friday and Saturday.
