KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches released the West Region awards on Tuesday, with Northwest Nazarene's
Lorenzo Valentini earning Third Team All-Region honors.
Valentini recorded one goal and one assist while anchoring the Nighthawks defense that allowed 1.42 goals per game and recorded five shutouts this season.Â
The defender is the 10th NNU men's soccer player to receive All-Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches, and first since 2017.
Eight GNAC student-athletes earned All-Region honors, with Seattle Pacific receiving five awards across the First and Second Teams and both Western Washington and Montana State Billings notching one player on the Third Team.
Grande was also one of 10 unanimous selections to the All-GNAC First Team.
