LACEY, Wash. – Northwest Nazarene volleyball snapped a four-game skid with a 3-0 sweep at Saint Martin's on Saturday night.
How It Happened
- NNU rolled to an easy first set win, pulling away early for a 25-17 win.
- Set two was closer to start, before a late 5-1 run by the Nighthawks gave them a 22-17 lead that would end up as a 25-19 victory.
- The Saints came out strong in set three, leading by as much as five at 14-9, but NNU slowly crept back into the frame and eventually tied it at 23. SMU took the next point to force set point, but NNU responded with three in a row to finish the match.
