Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. – The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team completed a weekend sweep of Great Northwest Athletic Conference opponents with a 27-25, 25-19, 25-15 victory over Concordia University this afternoon in Portland.

Ranked 16th in the nation, the Crusaders improved to 12-0 overall and 4-0 in GNAC action

"We played a clean volleyball game and put a lot of pressure on Concordia to score points," commented NNU head coach Doug English.  "With that, our blocking and defense played great and really limited their scoring."

Madi Farrell led the Crusaders with 15 kills and Kendra Bodine posted a 12 kill, 11 dig double-double.

English added, "Madi had a great offensive match and Hailey (Cook) did a great job of running our offense."  Cook finished with 30 assists in the three-set match.

The Crusaders will return home and host Alaska Anchorage on Thursday night next week and Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday at the Johnson Sports Center.
