Box Score NAMPA, Idaho – Ashley Cook-Cox and Cassandra Clarke capped off senior day in perfect fashion, each scoring a goal to lead the Northwest Nazarene University women's soccer team to a 4-1 victory Saturday against Saint Martin's at NNU Field.

Cook-Cox scored in the 53rd and Clarke added her first goal of the year in the 86th.

NNU (11-6-0, 8-4-0 GNAC) honored its seven seniors before the match with framed photos, flowers and tears.

"Our seniors are the heart of our team and it was fun to send them out with a win," NNU coach Mary Trigg said. "They've helped build this program and set school records. They deserve every victory."

NNU will face an opponent at a time to be determined Thursday at Concordia University in Portland in the first round of the GNAC conference tournament.

Cook-Cox scored off of an assist from Hannah Holm, while Clarke banged home a header off a pass from Kaisa Tsuruta.

Freshman Rikki Myers nearly stole the show from her elder teammates, scoring in the 16th and 53rd minutes. She now has seven goals on the season, putting her into a tie with teammate Madi Taylor.

Daniele Ortiz made four saves in goal, capping her stellar NNU home career.

Saint Martin's (2-14-1, 2-9-1) got its lone goal from Lauren Allison in the 52nd minute.

The seven seniors honored Ortiz, forward Emily Wilkins, Cook-Cox, Clarke, forward Hannah Holm, midfielder Anita Maryskova and defender Mabinty Kanu.
