#10 Crusaders sweep Yellowjackets in Montana

BILLINGS, Mont. – The 10th-ranked Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team swept past Montana State University Billings 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 this evening in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match at Alterowitz Gym in Billings.

Bouncing back from their only defeat of the season on Tuesday against Central Washington, the Crusaders improve to 17-1 overall and a league-leading 9-1 in GNAC action.

Kendra Bodine led all players with 16 kills, Madi Farrell had 13 and Mari Thomas finished with 9 as the Crusaders hit .452 for the match, including a .565 clip in the second set.

MSUB (6-13 overall, 2-8 GNAC) was led by Maddi Vigil with 9 kills.

Hailey Cook dished out 31 assists to quarterback the NNU offense and Shayli Siegfreid had a game-high 14 digs.

The Crusaders return home next weekend to host Concordia on Thursday and Western Oregon on Saturday at the Johnson Sports Center.
