Box Score 2 ST. GEORGE, Utah — For the second straight day, the Crusader baseball team ended up with a split on the road in Utah.
Host Dixie State started Northwest Nazarene's day by blanking NNU 5-0. The Crusaders then regrouped, erasing a 10-4 deficit late Saturday night to beat Holy Names (Calif.), 15-11.

Ryan Johnson each had a hit for NNU against the Storm (7-0), who scored a run in the fourth, then tacked on two runs in each of the fifth and eighth innings for the win.
In the nightcap, NNU rallied after giving up eight runs to the Hawks in the top of the third inning.
Trailing 10-4, the Crusaders (3-3 overall) quickly answered with an eight-run rally of their own to regain the lead, never looking back.
Stats from NNU's game against Holy Names were not available.
The Crusaders are back in action next weekend, playing a four-game series at Azusa Pacific Calif.), which starts with a solo game at 8 p.m. (MT) on Thursday.
