PORTLAND, Ore. — The Crusader men's soccer team picked up a point on the road, but left wanting more.

A dominating performance on the pitch left the Northwest Nazarene men's soccer team feeling unsatisfied as NNU settled for a 0-0 tie with host Concordia on Thursday night in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play.

"It was a disappointing result for us when we created so many chances," NNU head coach Joe DeLass said. "But when you can't put those chances on target you're never going to win."

The Crusaders (8-5-4 overall, 5-3-3 GNAC) handily outshot the host Cavaliers, 25-7, in the contest, and held a 5-1 advantage in shots in the second overtime, alone.

But of that barrage of chances, only three were on goal, and Cavaliers goalkeeper Grant Alcorn came up with all three saves to send NNU home with just one point for a tie, instead of three points for a win.

On the other end of the field, Ryan Foo made one save to earn his fifth shutout this season and the 17th of his career.

Foo will be one of 11 Crusader seniors honored on Saturday when NNU hosts St. Martin's at 3 p.m. at Finkbeiner Park for NNU's home and regular-season finale.
