NAMPA, Idaho — It's now wait and see time.

The Crusader volleyball team did everything it could do on the court, closing out its 2015 regular season in style Thursday night at the Johnson Sports Center, rolling past Montana State Billings, 25-18, 25-11, 25-16, in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action.

The defending GNAC champs now must wait and see if a season that saw NNU compile 19 victories, including wins over the top three teams in this week's NCAA West Region poll, was enough to earn the Crusaders a second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.

The NCAA volleyball selection show will be Monday at 5:30 p.m. (MT). WATCH THE SELECTION SHOW

Unfazed by their postseason fate, the Crusaders came out on fire on "Senior Night," determined to send off seniors Linnea Phillips, Jenna Caywood, Elayna Rice and Taylor VanValey in victorious style.

Kendra Bodine set the tone for NNU, pounding down a trio of kills in an opening 9-3 charge, as the Crusaders (19-9 overall, 16-4 GNAC) took firm control of the match following "Senior Night" ceremonies.

A Madi Farrell kill made it 18-11 in the opening set, and a kill by VanValey finished off the opening win.

NNU didn't waste any time in the second set, either, jumping up 6-1 after back-to-back tandem blocks by VanValey and Caywood, and led as much as 18-6 on a Farrell kill en route to a two set to none lead.

The Yellowjackets (6-22, 5-14) grab their lone advantages of the night — up 1-0 and 2-1 — early in the third set before the Crusaders pulled away with an 8-0 run sparked by a Farrell kill.

The match ended on a tandem block by VanValey and Farrell, finishing off what a gym filled with nearly 600 fans hope wasn't the last time the Crusaders play this season, nor the final match for any of NNU's four seniors.

Caywood finished with six kills and six blocks in her final home match, while VanValey had six kills and four blocks.

Rice moved to No. 10 all-time in kills at NNU with six in the match — she now has 1,052 in her Crusader career — while adding in 14 digs, and Phillips had 12 digs to move to No. 5 all-time in NNU volleyball history with 1,381 career digs.

Bodine added 11 kills and nine digs in the Crusader win, while Hailey Cook dished out 27 assists.
