WAIPAHU, Hawaii – The Northwest Nazarene University baseball team dropped their final game against Hawaii Pacific University 9-3 in Monday night's baseball action.
 
The Sea Warriors were up 4-2 after six and half innings of play. HPU used a 5-run seventh inning to increase their lead to seven.
 
Sam Cook and Fernando Robles each had 2 hits and 1 RBI to lead the Crusaders at the plate.
 
Nick Bland receives the loss on the mound for NNU.
 
John Albert earns the win for HPU after 6 innings on the mound.
 
The Crusaders who went 2-3 in their five-game series with the Sea Warriors will now travel to Chico, California to face Chico State University in another five-game series beginning Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. (PST).
