BILLINGS, Mont. – The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team fell in a five set match tonight against Montana State University Billings in Great Northwest Athletic Conference match-up in Billings, Montana.
 
The Crusaders battled the Yellow Jackets in five sets 25-18, 20-25, 23-25, 25-18, 12-15.
 
Michelle Terpstra had 40 assists and 5 kills on 5 attempts. Linnea Phillips had a match high 21 digs for the Crusaders while Kaitlyn Tuholski had 12 kills and 11 digs.
 
Kyndal Williams had 41 assists to lead the Yellow Jackets. Monica Grimsrud had 15 kills while Erin Compton had 15 digs for MSUB.
 
The Crusaders had 13 blocks while the Yellow Jackets had 11 on the night.
 
NNU drops to 8-6 overall and 2-3 in GNAC action. MSUB goes to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in conference.
 
NNU will now travel to Seattle, Washington on Saturday to take on Seattle Pacific University at 2 p.m.
