OAKLAND, Calif. - Leading 4-3 in the seventh, Logan Parker blasted a three-run home run to open up the game and lead the Northwest Nazarene baseball team to a 10-4 win against the Academy of Art University tonight at Laney College Stadium in Oakland.

Parker led the Crusaders with three RBI's, while Sean McDonald added a pair of RBI's with a two-run single in the eighth.  Kaleb DeHass was the only Crusader to post multiple hits, finishing 2 for 2 with three runs scored.

Charles Pollock scattered five hits over five and two-thirds innings to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Crusaders improve to 8-3 overall and will play game two of the three-game series tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m. at Laney College Stadium.

Zach Babitt led Art-U at the plate, finishing 2 for 4 and Zach Mexicano (0-2) took the loss for the Urban Knights, who fall to 0-9 on the season.
