NAMPA, Idaho - Rory Blanche scored a game-high 30 points to lead No. 10 Western Washington University to a 77-67 Great Northwest Athletic Conference victory over Northwest Nazarene tonight at the Johnson Sports Center.

Blanche finished 13 of 15 from the floor and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Vikings to their 10th-straight win and set a new GNAC record of eight-straight road victories in conference play.  A win at Central Washington on Saturday night will make the Vikings the only team in GNAC history to go undefeated in conference road games.

Keith Moilanen led the Crusaders with 23 points and both Jonathan Hawkins and JB Pillard reached double-digits with 16 and 10 points, respectively.  Pillard matched Blanche with a game-high seven rebounds, but WWU out-rebounded the Crusaders 26-21.

WWU's John Allen scored 15 points, dished-out a game-high eight assists and hustled for six rebounds with Paul Jones adding 10.

The Vikings (23-3, 14-1 GNAC) led 35-27 at the half and stretched the lead to as many as 17 in the second half.  However, the Crusaders (11-12, 5-10 GNAC) rallied to cut the lead to six after a Moilanen triple made it 71-65 with 57-seconds to play.

WWU would continue their solid free throw shooting in the final minute, going six-for-six and finishing the game 20 of 22.  The Vikings shot 56.5-percent (26-46) from the floor and were five-of-10 from the arc.

The Crusaders were 12 of 15 (80-percent) from the line, 23-of-47 (48.9-percent) from the floor and 9-of-21 (42.9-percent) from the three-point line.

NNU will honor senior Anthony Golden on Saturday night when the Crusaders host Simon Fraser University in their final home game of the 2011-12 season.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
