Wolves Sweep The Crusaders 3-0

MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team fell in a three-set match against Western Oregon University 19-25, 25-27, 15-25 in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference match.
 
The Crusaders were led by Becky Flores, as she posted 10 kills for NNU. Setter Michelle Terpstra had a match-high 28 assists. Linnea Phillips had 16 digs for the Crusaders.
 
“We played well for stretches tonight,” commented head coach Jared Sliger,”we had our chances especially in game two but  unfortunately weren't able to capitalize.”
 
The Wolves were led by Krissi Kemper as she posted a match-high 12 kills with a .600 hitting percentage. Danielle Reese had 10 kills and 11 digs for WOU.  Megan Triggs had a match-high 17 digs.
 
The Crusaders drop to 12-14 overall and 5-10 in conference play. The Wolves jump to 19-5 overall and 12-3 in GNAC action.
 
NNU will now travel to Olympia, Washington to face Saint Martin's University on Saturday at 3:00 p.m., the game will take place at Capital High School.
