AZUSA, Calif. - The Northwest Nazarene University men's basketball team fell 97-75 to Azusa Pacific University in tonight's non-conference showdown in Azusa, California.

Keith Moilanen led the Crusaders with 14 points. Kenny Jones added 13 points while Jonathan Hawkins and Kevin Rima each had 11 points. Rima also grabbed 6 rebounds for NNU.

Azusa Pacific was led by Troy Leaf and B.J Porter. Leaf scored 29 points on 11 of 14 shooting and grabbed 7 rebounds while Porter chipped in 23 points for the Cougars.

NNU was 48.3-percent (29 of 60) from the field and 29.4-percent (5 of 17) from beyond the arc. APU shot 56.5-percent (35 of 62) from the floor and hit 12 of 21 (57.1-percent) three-point attempts. 

The Crusaders will now face Point Loma Nazarene tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. in San Diego, California.
