OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team swept the Saints of Saint Martin's University 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 in today's Great Northwest Athletics Conference match held at Capital High School in Olympia, Washington.
Senior
Becky Flores led the Crusaders with 10 kills on .667 hitting percentage.
Kaitlyn Tuholski recorded a double-double with 16 digs and 14 assists. Setter Michellte Terptra had 19 assists 9 digs and 8 kills for the Crusaders. Senior
Carly Dranginis added 9 kills on 18 attempts.
“I thought we did a good job of handling the changes in time and venue,” commented head coach Jared Sliger, “everyone got a chance to play and we played really clean all match long.”
Katy Ferguson led the Saints with 10 kills. Cymbree Dacosta had a match-high 27 assists along with 12 digs.
The Crusaders (13-14, 6-10 GNAC) will return to home action next week for their final two regular-season matches. Thursday, NNU will host Alaska Anchorage at 7:00 p.m. at the Johnson Sports Center in Nampa, Idaho.
