Crusaders Sweep the Wolves

NAMPA, Idaho - The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team defeated Walla Walla University in three sets in tonight's non-conference match in Nampa, Idaho.

The Crusaders used a balance attack to sweep the Wolves, defeating Walla Walla in three sets 25-7, 25-6, 25-8.

Kaitlyn Tuholski had 23 assists for the Crusaders while freshman Taylor VanValey led the team with 7 kills on 8 attempts. Taylor Roberts had 10 digs while Michelle Terpstra had 6 kills on 6 attempts and also adding 12 assists. 

The Crusaders had a team hitting percentage of .550 and had eight blocks.

NNU jumps to 9-15 overall and 3-4 in GNAC action. The Wolves fall to 2-15 overall. 

Come out to support the Crusaders for their upcoming HOME MATCH THIS SATURDAY at 7:00 p.m. vs. CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY.
