NAMPA, Idaho – The Crusader volleyball team traveled to Bellingham, Washington to face AVCA #15 Western Washington University in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference match. WWU swept NNU 25-10, 25-10, 25-16.

The Crusaders (10-12, 3-8 GNAC) were led by Michelle Terpstra's nine kills, nine assists and 13 digs. Linnea Phillips added 11 digs while senior Carly Dranginis had 6 kills.

Marlayna Geary led the GNAC top-seed Vikings with 10 kills on 24 attempts. Laurie Yearout had a match-high 29 assists while Samantha Hutchinson added 24 digs.

The Vikings jump to 17-2 overall and 10-1 in GNAC play after earning sole possession of first place after a win over Central Washington on Thursday night.

The Crusaders will be back to home action next Thursday as they host Seattle Pacific University at 7:00 p.m. in Nampa, Idaho
