SEATTLE, Wash. – Seattle Pacific University defeated Northwest Nazarene 4-1 in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference soccer match.
The Falcons scored two goals in each half. In the 25
th minute Heather Young scored from six yards out to get the Falcons on the board 1-0. Eleven minutes later Demi Waitley scored from 12 yards out in the 36
th minute. The Falcons would go into half up 2-0.
In the 48
th minute Kaylie Winston scored her second goal of the season to get the Falcons up 3-0. Ali Martin netted her 6
th goal of the season in the 56
th minute to convert the Falcons last goal of the match.
In the 63

Sarah Staropoli scored her fourth goal of the season after an assists from
McCrea Nirider to get the Crusaders on the board 1-4.
The Falcons out-shot the Crusaders 15 to 7.
The Crusaders drop to 6-7-0 overall and 3-6-0 in GNAC action. The Falcons jumps to 9-2-2 overall 6-1-2 in conference play.
NNU will now travel to Ellensburg, Washington on Saturday to face Central Washington University at 11:00 a.m.
