Logan Parker's bases-clearing triple in the second inning led the Northwest Nazarene baseball team to a 6-2 victory over Hawaii Pacific University on Tuesday afternoon at Hans L'Orange Field in Waipahu.
The Crusaders, now 7-0 to start the season, entered the contest ranked seventh in the first National Collegiate Baseball Writers West Regional poll and is the highest ranked GNAC team in the opening rankings.

J.T. Brodrick (2-0) earned the win, giving the Crusaders eight strong innings and
Ryan Brown handled the ninth in relief.
Michael Green (0-1) took the loss for HPU (1-4), surrendering six runs on five hits and walking five.
Today's victory sets a new school record for consecutive wins to start a season, eclipsing the 6-0 mark set at the beginning of the 2008 season.
The Crusaders will face Hawaii Pacific again on Wednesday afternoon at 6:00 p.m. local time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
