NAMPA, Idaho - Drew Eisinger drilled seven three-pointers to lead the Northwest Nazarene men's basketball team to a 79-64 victory over Montana State University Billings tonight in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference game at the Johnson Sports Center.

Eisinger, who finished seven-of-12 from the arc, scored a game and season-high 25 points to lead all scorers.  Brian Barkdoll finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds, posting his fifth double-double of the season, and Darious Walker added 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Crusaders (9-11, 5-8 GNAC) ended their brief three-game slide with the victory and will host Seattle Pacific University on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.  SPU will come to Nampa ranked fifth in the NCAA D.II West Region.

DeAndre Chambers led MSUB (5-16, 3-11 GNAC) with 17 points and Robert Mayes came off the bench to score 16.

Five minutes into the contest the Crusaders trailed 5 to 2, converting just two free-throws in the opening stretch.  But after a Barkdoll jumper in the paint doubled the NNU scoring with 14:26 to go, Eisinger and Joey Wayman caught fire, knocking home five three-pointers (3 by Eisinger - 2 for Wayman) over the next four minutes to give the Crusaders a 21-12 lead with 10:13 left in the first half.

Eisinger would add two more triples in the final two minutes of the half and push the Crusaders to the locker room leading 39-25.

The Crusaders would maintain the 14-point margin throughout the second half, and led by as many as 21 late in the game.

Jamie Eisinger handed-out a game-high eight assists against no turnovers in 30 minutes running the point and helped the Crusaders to a 19 to 7 assist-to-turnover ratio.
