ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Becky Flores led a balanced offensive attack with 10 kills as the Northwest Nazarene volleyball team cruised past Central Washington University 25-21, 25-16, 25-21 on Saturday night in a league match in Ellensburg.

The Crusaders improved to 14-5 overall and 9-3 in GNAC action in winning their seventh-straight match.

Haley Abbott and Carly Dranginis each had nine kills and Reisa Fessler had seven to join Flores as NNU setters Michelle Terpstra (24) and Kaitlyn Tuholski (14) spread 38 combined assists around.

"Tonight was a nice balanced effort," commented NNU head coach Jared Sliger.  "Having Flores with 10 and another three right next to double figures...that is good execution of our game planning."

Kailey Trautmann and Laticia Lehman each had 14 digs to lead the NNU defense and the Crusaders out-blocked the Wildcats 13 to 5.

"Our defense was solid," Sliger added.  "We blocked well and did the little things that earn you victories."

Jordan Offutt led Central Washington (11-9, 5-7 GNAC) with a match-high 16 kills and Kaely Kight had a match-best 19 digs.

The Crusaders return to home court action next weekend, hosting a pivotal conference match on Thursday against Western Oregon University at the Johnson Sports Center.
