BILLINGS, Mont. - A pair of second-half goals propelled the Montana State University Billings Yellowjackets to a 2-1 decision over the Crusaders on Saturday afternoon in Billings.

The Crusaders (4-5-1, 0-5-0) took a 1-0 lead into the half as Benny Mangeac scored from six-yards away after taking a pass from Dylan Coffee from across the box in the 41st minute.

"We have been very unlucky with some of our recent losses but that was not the case today," commented NNU head coach Coe Michaelson.  "We were extremely flat and MSU Billings deserved the result.  Zander (Engeman) kept us in the game in the first half but we just could not summon the necessary energy."

Engeman hustled for four saves, but the Yellowjackets (3-7-0, 1-4-0) evened the score in the 74th minute off a corner kick from Clifton Thomas that found Kyle Emerick and then Thomas Sheets scored the game-winner in the 81st minute.  Sheets used an Emerick assist from the midfield and buried a shot from 10-yards out into the right corner.

MSUB out-shot NNU 13-8 but corner kicks were even at 5-5.  'Jackets goalkeeper Eoin Hurley was not forced to make a save.

The Crusaders will return to action on October 6th in a non-conference match against the University of Sioux Falls in Bismark, ND.
