BILLINGS, Mont. - Steven Davidson and Chris Voth each scored goals in the 61st minute to lead the Northwest Nazarene men's soccer team to a 2-1 Great Northwest Athletic Conference victory over Montana State Billings on Saturday afternoon.

The Crusaders finish the campaign 8-8-0 overall and 4-6-0 in GNAC play, the Yellowjackets fell to 8-9-1 overall and 2-8-0 in league action.

"This was a deserved win and a great way to send these seniors away," commented NNU head coach Coe Michaelson.  "I can't say enough about their character and quality as both people and athletes.  They have been instrumental in building this program and we fully intend to honor their efforts by taking another step forward next year, just as we did this year."

The 'Jackets struck in the 41st-minute as Chris Andre scored his 10th goal of the season off a Peter Davies assist and would lead 1-0 into the half.

Davidson would even the score at 60:10, converting an Alex Mangeac corner kick past MSUB goalkeeper Matt Mitchell, and then Voth scored the unassisted game-winning at 60:43, beating Mitchell for his second goal of the season.

Both teams offered 11 shots as Mitchell made four saves for MSUB while NNU goalkeeper Zander Engeman had five.  The Yellowjackets held a 7-6 edge in corner kicks.

The win earned the Crusaders the season-sweep of the Yellowjackets, having defeated MSUB 2-1 in Nampa on October 9th.
