Yellowjackets Swarm Crusaders

NAMPA, Idaho - Jennifer Boe notched a match-high 17 kills to lead Montana State University Billings to a 25-23, 26-24, 25-14 victory over Northwest Nazarene on Saturday night at the Johnson Sports Center.
 
The victory breaks a five-match losing streak and improves the Yellowjackets to 3-17 overall and 3-8 in conference play.  NNU falls to 5-12 overall, 5-7 in league matches, and is the third-straight setback for the Crusaders.
 
The Crusaders were led by Kailey Trautman with nine kills and Carly Dranginis with eight.  Haley Hevern paced the NNU defense with 11 digs.
 
Adrienne Kelso had a match-high 17 digs for MSUB and Boe added 13 digs for the double-double.  The Yellowjackets hit .160 on the night and held the Crusaders to a .070 hitting percentage.  Melissa Porter had five blocks, two solo, to lead the 'Jackets at the net and Kayla Neumiller added three.
 
NNU will travel to The College of Idaho on Tuesday and then return to league action, hosting Central Washington next Saturday night.
