NAMPA, Idaho - The Western Oregon University baseball team took the opening two games of a Great Northwest Athletic Conference four-game series on Monday afternoon, winning the opening game 9-6 and grabbing the nightcap 8-6 against the Crusaders at Vail Field in Nampa.

The teams will return tomorrow at noon to complete the four-game GNAC series.

NNU will be in action again this weekend, hosting Saint Martin's on Friday and Saturday.
