SEATTLE - Drew Williams scored two goals and seniors Alec Nelson and Corey Sinser each had one in the final home game of their careers as Seattle Pacific ended its regular season with a 5-1 victory against Northwest Nazarene Saturday at Interbay Stadium.
Freshman Christopher Morris also scored for the Falcons (11-5-3, 4-3-1), whose victory clinched third place in the GNAC standings and snapped a three-game losing streak. SPU's win total was its highest since it went 12-7 in 2006.
Williams scored in the ninth and 75th minutes, while Nelson's goal came at 61:42 and Sinser scored at 74:31. Morris's goal came at 42:04. The goals for Williams, who ranks second in the league with nine assists, were his second and third of the year.
Northwest Nazarene (5-11-1, 0-7-1), also playing their final match of the season, scored with 3:28 remaining on a penalty kick by senior Alonso Avila.
