NAMPA, Idaho - Rachelle Kliewer scored in the 79th minute to give Western Oregon University a 1-0 victory over Northwest Nazarene University in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match on Thursday afternoon in Nampa.

Kliewer converted from 10-yards in the middle of the box, taking an assist up the middle from Kristen Sagami and beating NNU goalkeeper Tanya Zickefoose inside the far left post with a shot along the ground.  The game winning goal was her eight tally of the season.

Zickefoose and WOU goalkeeper Brittney Rigtrup each collected seven saves as both teams fired 14 shots in the evenly-played match, played under less than ideal conditions that featured rain and snow flurries throughout all 90-minutes of play.

The Crusaders will play their final home game of the 2009 season on Saturday at Noon, hosting Saint Martin's University.  Senior Molly Tipton will be honored prior to kickoff as she will be playing the final home game of her career as a Crusader.
