NAMPA, Idaho - Elliot Morton's shot from 12-yards in the 99th-minute gave the 25th-ranked Seattle Pacific University Falcons a 2-1 overtime win over Northwest Nazarene University on Saturday afternoon in Nampa.

Morton netted his second goal of the season with the game-winner, a one-touch shot off a deflection caused by a Drew Williams shot moments earlier.  Williams earned an assist on the play.

SPU (8-1-3, 2-1-1 GNAC) took the lead in the opening half when Danny Brill scored in the 36th-minute, nodding a header into the upper left corner off a Corey McGuire cross.

The Crusaders (5-7-1, 0-3-1 GNAC) evened the score in the 79th-minute when Alex Mangeac converted a penalty kick past SPU keeper Kaleb Kuehn.

"A tough loss," commented NNU head coach Coe Michaelson.  "We played well against a very good team and I'm pleased with our effort...but the outcome wasn't what we were after.  Hopefully we can heal a couple guys that are fighting injuries and spend the next full week getting ready for Western Washington next Saturday."

Kuehn finished with five saves, while NNU's Cesar Lira had four.

SPU held a 9-3 corner kick advantage, however the shot totals were knotted at 12-12.

The Crusaders will next face Western Washington next Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the NNU Soccer Field.
