Falcons upset Crusaders in Five

NAMPA, Idaho - The Northwest Nazarene volleyball team saw their seven-match winning streak come to an end on Saturday night, falling 25-14, 23-25, 25-20, 22-15, 9-15 to Seattle Pacific University in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match in Nampa.
 
The Crusaders, now 15-8 overall and 9-5 in GNAC play, were led by Amanda Boschma's double-double of 16 kills and 14 digs.  Cammy Dranginis had 14 kills and two blocks.
 
Nikke Finley posted a match-high 25 kills for the Falcons, who improved to 7-17 overall and 5-10 in league play with the upset victory.  Robin De Jong also reached double-figures with 11 kills.
 
The Crusaders will close out the 2008 season next weekend when they travel to league-leading Western Oregon on Thursday and Saint Martin's on Saturday.
