NAMPA, Idaho - Brittany Franks scored in the 97th-minute to lead the Central Washington University Wildcats to a 2-1 overtime victory over the Northwest Nazarene University women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon in the final Great Northwest Athletic Conference game of the season.
The Crusaders struck first blood in the 18th-minute when
Stacey Beckman scored on a one-touch shot from 15-yards out. Beckman was the recipient of a
Kim Bowen assist, with Bowen beating two defenders on the left wing to serve Beckman in the box.
NNU would take the 1-0 lead into the half, but the Wildcats would even the score in the 66th-minute when Kaycie Hutchins beat NNU goalkeeper
