LACEY, Wash. - Saint Martin's Jill Jensen scored two goals to lead the Saints to a 4-0 victory over Northwest Nazarene on Thursday afternoon in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match in Lacey.

Jensen scored in the 21st and 35th minutes as SMU improved to 3-5-1 in conference play and 5-9-1 overall. The goals were her GNAC-leading 11th and 12th of the season and she now leads the conference with 30 points.

Jensen's first goal came off a corner kick, while the second came off a free kick that was served into the box and then flicked forward to Jensen.

Julianna Sackeyfio and Kayci Donatelli had assists on the latter goal and Aleigh Mansfield was credited with an assist on the former.

Saint Martin's added two more goals in the second half as Nicole Nedervelt took a cross from Amanda Zueger and scored from the center of the 18-yard box at 59:32 and Jensen set up Donatelli with a sharp pass at 81:30.

Ashley Engel and Michelle Donachie combined for the shutout with Engel earning seven saves in the first 66:22 and Donachie stopping one shot in the final 23:38.

The Crusaders (0-8-0 GNAC, 1-14-1) Pip Herman hustled for five saves and the Crusaders held a slim 4-3 advantage in corners.  SMU out-shot NNU 19-14.

NNU will now travel to Monmouth, Oregon and face Western Oregon on Saturday at noon PST.
