BILLINGS, Mont. - Lindsay Forseth posted a 16 kill, 13 dig double-double as the Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team defeated Montana State Billings 25-14, 25-23, 25-19 on Thursday evening in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match at Alterowitz Gym in Billings.
 
The Crusaders, rebounding from a pair of heart-breaking five-set losses last weekend, improve to 8-5 overall and 2-3 in GNAC play.  The Yellowjackets fall to 3-15 overall and 0-5 in league action.
 
"The outside hitters carried the load tonight," commented NNU head coach Jared Sliger.  "Both Lindsay and Kailey were great and it was nice to bounce back confidently after two hard-fought matches last week."
 
Forseth led the charge as the Crusaders hit .274, including an opening game .375 effort.  Cammy Dranginis finished with 13 kills, with just one hitting error, and four blocks while Kailey Trautmann had seven kills.  Eki Punimata dished 25 assists and Amy Higginson had 11.
 
Devon Crotteau led the 'Jackets attack with 14 kills and 13 digs and Hillary Morrison had a game-high 29 assists.
 
The Crusaders will now travel to Ellensburg, Wash. and battle Central Washington on Saturday at 7 p.m.
