MONMOUTH, Ore. - The Northwest Nazarene University volleyball team fell to Western Oregon University 30-22, 30-15, 30-16 on Saturday night in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match in Monmouth.
Using a .280 attack percentage and holding the Crusaders to just .030, the Wolves improved to a GNAC leading 5-1 in conference and 8-5 overall. The loss drops the Crusaders to 3-2 in league play and 9-4 overall.
Cammy Dranginis led the Crusaders with 11 kills and Lindsay Forseth had seven.
Stacey Bennett posted a match-high 15 kills for WOU and Kayla Mainer chipped in with 11.
The Crusaders will return to Nampa and host the University of Alaska Fairbanks on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Johnson Sports Center.
