Josh Tatton was announced as Sports Information Director in March 2026.

Tatton oversees all aspects of athletic communications for NNU’s 16 athletic programs, including press releases, statistics, social media, media relations, graphic design and website management.

Prior to NNU, Tatton was the Social Media & Digital Manager for Midwest Sports+ and Forum Communications in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In that role, he managed social media content, website maintenance and live stream operations while helping cover high school sports in South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota. He also served as a gameday volunteer at Augustana University (S.D.), assisting with statistics for football and basketball.

Before Midwest Sports+, Tatton spent two years as the athletic communications graduate assistant at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, where he played a key role in overhauling the Defenders’ social media platforms. His work helped drastically improve Dordt’s online presence through graphics and photography, and his graphics were voted the best in the NAIA in the 2025 NAIA-SIDA Publications & Media Contest. He also helped grow Dordt’s athletic social media following to more than 5,000 followers on Instagram and 7,000 followers on X.

During his time at Dordt, Tatton served as the voice of Defender soccer for four years while also contributing play-by-play for football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, softball and baseball. He helped cover one of the most successful athletic departments in the NAIA, including multiple GPAC tournaments, national tournaments, a men’s track and field national runner-up finish, and back-to-back women’s basketball national championships. He also contributed at the national level with play-by-play for the 2023 and 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Tournament.

A native of Tracy, California, Tatton attended Ripon Christian High School before attending Dordt University, where he played soccer and participated in choir.

Tatton graduated from Dordt in December 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance: Sports Management and Graphic Design. He also earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Sports Leadership from Dordt in May 2025.

Tatton resides in Nampa, Idaho, and is an avid Los Angeles Rams and Dodgers fan. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and living for Jesus.
