Maria was named the Oregon 4A Player-of-the-Year last season, leading her LaPine High School team to the 2009 Oregon 4A state championship where she was named the OSAA state tournament MVP…An Oregon 4A all-state selection as a senior and a 4A all-Sky Em League selection in her sophomore, junior, and seniors seasons, Maria also holds the Oregon 4A career assists record.

Born on 6-6-91…Her parents are Sam & Becky Ramirez…Her major is Sports Medicine…Her favorite childhood toy was her younger siblings!...Her favorite movies include:  Transformers, The Notebook, and Lion King…Something that might surprise people about me:  “Did you know” facts and the Rubiks Cube are my hobbies…One reason that I chose NNU was the family-based campus…Maria’s brother, Samuel, and sister, Rachel, both played basketball at Southwest Oregon Community College.
