2024-25 (Junior)
  • Played in 26 games with two starts for the Nighthawks
  • Averaged 16.7 minutes, 3.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists
  • Scored a season-high 16 points along with three rebounds and four assists at Western Oregon on Jan. 23, going 5-7 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line
  • Season-best six rebounds came against Alaska Fairbanks on Jan. 4

  • Jené prepped at Christian Brothers High School and attended San Joaquin Delta College for two years before transferring to NNU
  • Delta College Athletic Achievements: 
    • Most Valuable Team Award
    • All Conference Honorable Mention
  • Also participated in track and field in high school

  • One brother, John Wells IV
  • Multiple relatives that were collegiate or professional athletes, including: 
    • Derrek Lee (cousin): 15-year MLB career from 1997-2011 with the San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, and Pittsburgh Pirates. Two-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove winner.
    • Isaac Fontaine III (uncle): played basketball and ran track at Cal Poly SLO
    • Isaac Fontaine IV (cousin): played basketball at Washington State and one year for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2002
    • Austin Wilson (cousin): played baseball at Yuba College
