Carey begins his seventh year as an assistant coach with coach Lindley and the Crusaders.
Beginning his tenure at NNU in 1993, Carey serves as the Vice-President for Student Development, a position he has held since 2000. Prior to his appointment as Vice-President, Carey was the Director of Campus Life from 1993 to 2000 and also served as coach of the women’s tennis team from 1998 to 2000.
A graduate of Pt. Loma Nazarene University (B.A.,1988), The College of Idaho (M.A.,1992), and the University of Idaho, Carey earned his Ph.D in Education in 2002.
Carey and his wife Tracey have three children, Sam (20), Hailey (16) and Jack (11).
